About the event
Join Us for Poudre Springs Community Fire Mitigation Week!
June 13–19, 2027 | Community Picnic June 20
Let's work together to make Poudre Springs a safer, healthier mountain community! Join your neighbors for a week of wildfire mitigation as we tackle dead trees, branches, and accumulated fuels throughout our neighborhood. We'll provide a community wood chipper that will travel along our roads, making debris removal easier and more affordable for everyone. Whether you can help for an hour, a day, or the entire week, your participation makes a difference! Can't attend? Simply prepare and stack your branches ahead of time, and our volunteers will help with chipping. We'll wrap up the week with a community picnic on June 20 to celebrate our accomplishments, enjoy good company, and strengthen the spirit of Poudre Springs. Together, we can make a difference—one branch at a time!
